Back in Tennessee

I just returned from a fantastic visit in Kansas City, Mo. Area with relatives on David’s side. Mickey & Bettina were the perfect host and hostess and I had a great vacation. One of the sites we visited was Steamboat Arabia. If you are ever in Kansas City, this museum is fantastic. http://www.1856.com

While in KC,  David’s niece Laurel, our webmaster, attempted to teach me some of the “how it works” stuff. Good teacher, lousy student. It took me less than 2 days after returning home to mess things up.

Now it’s back to campground work. We removed some tree stumps this fall and I am still moving the concrete, errrr clay dirt that was thrown about each stump site. This will level off some sites and make the RV parking easier. Each campsite backs up to the woods and this is a November view from one.woodsresized_edited-1.jpg It is scenic no matter what the season. We’ve had off-season campers who come to enjoy the serenity, some who come for the fall foliage and others who are just escaping the rat-race. The fishermen come year round. There is never a bad time for Small Mouth Bass fishing on Dale Hollow Lake or for Trout fishing here at our place.
