Happy July 4th. Friday there were fireworks over the lake. People reported that they were “spectacular”. Just as the show was ending, a rain storm came in. We desperately need water so I was not very upset about that. Saturday morning, it was clear skies and sunshine again. True to the reputation of campers, there were some incredible smells around here all weekend I had samples of just about anything that you could barbeque. I am so glad that I ditched the scale. Ignorance was bliss this weekend.
Does anyone know if there are dietary recommendations for the maximum number of marshmallows converted into charcoal bricks that one should consume? I am certain that I doubled it. Oh, piece of advise- never allow a 10-year old to play dumb on the rules of Cornhole It is extremely humiliating to have a “first-time player” beat the pants off of you in front of a crowd.
